Effective regulation is a vital part of any effective democracy. For all levels of government, having regulatory agencies that are effective, efficient, and ethical is a critical element any civil society.
To this end, the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZOG) has established the National Regulators Community of Practice (NRCoP), which is an active network of 7000+ public sector regulators who come together to learn, share, network and enhance regulatory practice across all levels of government. The NRCoP involves regulatory professionals from diverse sectors, and with a wide range of backgrounds, roles and levels of seniority. The common threads are sharing together and learning from one another, which are critical elements of effective professional development regulatory professionals.
Membership of the NRCoP is free, and enables members to participate in a wide range of professional development opportunities, such as these upcoming July / August 2025 events:
