Group Training Information

We love working with groups of students from a single organisation or multi-agency team. This gives us the opportunity to do things such as:

  • contextualise the training program to the jurisdiction, location and organisation focus
  • promote discussions about local arrangements, processes and resources
  • support networking of students
  • provide tailored virtual or face to face group sessions with activities and scenarios.

For organisations that are considering a group program, the following information helps explain the process from your initial enquiry through to post-program follow up by ACIMS.

What is the process of booking a program with ACIMS?

If you are interested in running a group program, please get in touch! You can call us on 1300 224 677 or email contact@acimsolutions.com.au

Helpful information that we need to know so we can best discuss your enquiry includes:

  • What program do you want to run?
  • When do you want the training to be?
  • Do you want a virtual, blended or face-to-face program?
  • If in person, where will the training be held?
  • How many students need to do the training?

Based on this information, ACIMS will prepare a proposal for you. The proposal provides background information about ACIMS, about the program and the options for running the program. This is a guide as to what you can expect. If there is something that you want to change or you want to discuss further, this is the time to talk it through.

Once you are happy with the proposal, ACIMS will then confirm dates and facilitator/s, and provide an itemised quote for you to accept. A copy of our terms and conditions will be attached to your quote. These are also available below.

Once your quote is accepted, your program is added to the ACIMS training calendar. We will then commence the next steps to prepare your program. An explanation of the next steps and how you can help ensure your program is a success is available below.

About a month before your program, ACIMS will be in touch to talk about:

  • What contextualisation is required for the program
  • Checks of training resources for your terminology and suitable scenarios
  • Getting access to organisational templates and procedures relevant to the program
  • Confirmation of the training location and arrangements
  • Student names and email addresses, so we can send registration information.

About 2 weeks before your program, ACIMS will book any travel required for facilitators, print required resources and contact students to ensure they have information about the program. Students will be required to:

  • Register for the program with ACIMS
  • Access their online learning resources
  • Accept calendar invitations for the program sessions.

After your program has been run, ACIMS will:

  • Provide you with a copy of the student feedback
  • Send monthly report updates about student completion of post-program assessment submissions (if required)
  • Provide you a copy of the certificates once students successfully complete requirements.

At any point during the program preparation, delivery or follow up you can contact the ACIMS teams with queries or to discuss any issues.
