Philippa is a Director of ACIM Solutions and prior to establishing this business was a serving member of the NSW Police Force for over 25 years. She has a strong background in the government sector and previously held the position of Human Resource Manager for NSW Police (Northern) from 2005 – 2010. In this role Philippa was responsible for HR strategy and implementation for 2400 staff. This workforce serviced a population > 1.5 million from the Central Coast to Tweed Heads, NSW.
Philippa also has international experience working with agencies such as Scotland Yard, London Metropolitan Police, Essex Police and Bramshill Police College on a number of employee management and leadership related projects. Philippa has been an accredited police negotiator for over 13 years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in mediating workplace disputes.
In 2013 Philippa became a director of Australian Centre for Investigation management (ACIM) which focuses on building organisational capability in the area of emergency management and investigations including work health and safety incidents and grievance and complaint management.
As an experienced manager, she has been responsible for leading and motivating teams to succeed in challenging and dynamic occupational environments. She also has practical experience leading the implementation of major structural and policy initiatives that have directly affected large numbers of staff.
Philippa has received awards for the development and implementation of risk management strategies and holds tertiary qualifications in psychology, business management, human resources, conflict resolution, work health and safety, investigations, adult education and workplace assessment.
