Matt Davoren

Matt has worked in law enforcement for 24 years with 12 years of Team Leader and above experience. He has completed roles including training and development, surveillance, close protection, cybercrime, family investigation liaison and conducting investigations into major international incidents and complex Organised Crime and Terrorist networks. During his time in training and development, Matt created and delivered interviewing, coaching, leadership, investigations, development and incident management training programs across the organisation and externally.

He was lucky enough to work with the United States Naval Criminal Investigative Service to provide pre-deployment training in drug searching and seizure for Royal Australian Navy crews deploying to the Middle East.

He was also part of coordinating and facilitating training programs with Australian Border Force, Australian Defence Force, New South Wales Police and the Office of the Sheriff of NSW staff, Victoria Police, Roads and Maritime Services in incident management, workplace coaching and interviewing.

Matt has held a Certificate IV Training and Assessment since 2003 and continually updates his facilitation skills with additional and contemporary vocational education qualifications as part of his professional practice.

Matt holds tertiary and vocational education qualifications in public safety, vocational education, leadership and investigations.
