Student Support

ACIM Solutions recognises that everyone learns differently and has different needs that must be met to promote success in completion of training. We are committed to providing learners with the support and adjustments needed to deliver training and assessment in a way that is fair and flexible, while meeting the requirements of nationally accredited training and the standards for RTOs 2015 and the Disability Standards for Education 2015.

We recognise that there are many disadvantaged groups that have traditionally been under-represented in vocational and higher education, and who face additional challenges when completing training. This includes people with a disability, carers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, women, people from non-English speaking backgrounds, people in remote and rural areas and those experiencing long-term unemployment.

Providing inclusive training is about ensuring a fair go for everyone so everyone can be successful. We do this by recognising the differences between students, and taking action to overcome barriers to learning. This begins with identifying your support needs, listening to you, and working with you.

While we can’t offer all services directly, please be aware there are many external sources of support available to you.
