This program is designed to empower experienced staff and leaders working in the public sector context with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to champion safety in the workplace.
The workshop will be interactive and discussion based with activities designed to embed the concepts and allow for application to the clients own operating context.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand their legal and ethical responsibilities under WHS legislation and Codes of Practice
- Understand the role of WHS Consultation – who & how
- Continue to build understanding of developing practical implementation of proactive WHS risk assessment processes
- Implementing appropriate incident investigation processes
- Understanding risks and particularly psychosocial risks.
Through the activities and the case studies we aim to demonstrate how you can lead others to manage risk proactively and positively influence a safe workplace.
