Trainer / Assessor opportunities

We are currently seeking accredited contract trainers and assessors for our range of learning and development programs.

Our contract trainer and assessors operate remotely and flexibly so can be located anywhere. There are opportunities for weekend as well as after hours work as we offer training sessions during those times to some of our clients.
Assessment only (marking) roles are also available.

About Us

ACIM Solutions is a niche Registered Training Organisation #41002 which specialises in learning and development programs focused on building capability in conducting investigations, emergency management and workplace violence prevention programs. We work with both organisations and individuals in providing high quality nationally accredited vocational education programs as well as interactive short courses. We are very customer focused and ensure all our programs are tailored to our client requirements and delivered by people with practical experience in the respective area.

1. Trainers and Assessors in Government Investigations

Our clients are largely regulatory agencies across Australia who enforce legislation for a diverse range of industries as well as in the community sector as well as individuals across Australia who are studying remotely. We deliver the nationally accredited Certificate IV in Government Investigations (PSP40416) and the Diploma of Government Investigations (PSP50416). We also offer short courses in investigation skills.

The role involves developing, delivering and evaluating tailored programs that incorporate agency specific legislation, policies, procedures and context. All case studies during the program are developed around investigations that would be encountered by each organisational group and incorporating their specific regulatory powers and compliance and enforcement approach.

2. Trainers and Assessors in Emergency Management

We work with a diverse range of agencies and organisations that work in the emergency management sector as both control and support agencies. We also have many individual students who are undertaking studies remotely.

We offer the nationally accredited Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management) as well as Incident Controller units of competence Level 1, 2 and 3.
The role involves working with students and small groups in delivering the two programs, and providing feedback as part of assessing completed submissions.

3. Workplace Violence Prevention Team

Our team on this program have backgrounds in health, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, security and frontline community work. Our programs focus on de-escalation skills, building situational awareness and the development of protective habits to build confidence and improve safety outcomes for teams operating in these environments.
NB: TAE40116 not essential for this program

Essential Requirements all programs:
• Experience working in volatile and unpredictable operational contexts which can involve occupational violence
• Experience in delivering vocational education
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, show initiative and meet time frames.

Nationally accredited programs:
• To deliver on the nationally accredited investigations and emergency management programs you must hold the current TAE 40116 qualification
• Experience in regulatory roles (Investigation programs)
• Experience in emergency management roles (emergency management programs)

Desirable
Experience delivering virtual learning programs via Zoom, Teams or Webex for example is not essential, however applicants would need to be willing to learn the technology.
Hold the relevant nationally accredited qualifications or have sufficient experience to apply for Recognitions of Prior Learning (RPL).
Experience in basic self defence would also be advantageous for the violence prevention programs.
