Course Name: Certificate IV in Government Investigations
Course Duration: 12 months
Course Description: This qualification allows for the attainment of occupational specific competencies for those working in operational roles undertaking government investigation related functions, with a particular focus on meeting the ethical and legislative requirements of the public service. This qualification supersedes the previous Certificate IV in Government Investigations PSP41512 and the Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) PSP41412. These qualifications have been deemed as NON EQUIVALENT. Many units however are equivalent and people seeking to upgrade to the new qualification should contact us.
Assessment: ACIM offer a range of assessment options including RPL, and a combination of realistic workplace tasks, projects, knowledge tests, and responses to case studies and scenarios. Please contact us for our RPL Kit if applicable. Our programs and assessments are practical and interactive in nature and will be directly relevant to your role and the investigative and compliance functions you currently undertake or are keen to pursue.
Entry Requirements: There are no entry requirements however it is acknowledged that many students will have vocational experience in a relevant role that will have provided a suitable preparation for the program. It is usually the case that personnel entering this program are identified by their employer based on their need for professional development and growth.
Notes: For those seeking Regulatory Compliance specialisation, 5 units from Group B must be successfully completed.
